SHIFTING THE TRADITIONAL MODEL OF ANALYSING DOWNLOADED ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS TO THE NOVEL OPEN-SOURCE ANALYTICS OPENSAFELY PLATFORM – DR. ANGEL WONG, OPENSAFELY

Covid-19 has caused traumatizing experiences to any person in our world and this period has to be stopped as soon as possible. Fortunately, we are blessed with the help of information technology, and our lives would be worse off without it. In this session, Dr. Angel Wong and Dr. Laura Vanderbloemen will discuss the rapidity, security, and large scale of analysis provided by electronic health records using the novel OpenSAFELY platform and its effectiveness during the pandemic. A thorough comparison between the traditional model and OpenSAFELY projects will be the main topic of this session.
